AegisPro CyberShield didn't start as a business plan. It started with a frustration — watching small business owners in Texas try to navigate cybersecurity advice written for enterprise IT departments, regulations written for Fortune 500 lawyers, and security tools priced for companies with six-figure budgets.
I've spent the last six years working in cybersecurity — running security operations for Fortune 500 enterprises, leading PCI DSS scoping engagements for a cybersecurity consulting firm, and managing vulnerability and compliance programs for a national healthcare provider. Along the way I earned my CISSP, the gold standard in information security, and built hands-on depth in HIPAA, PCI DSS, NIST, and GRC frameworks. The more I worked with the tools and processes that protect large organizations, the clearer it became: the same protection that big companies take for granted is almost completely out of reach for the businesses that need it most.
That's why I started AegisPro CyberShield. The name says what the firm does — protection professionals shielding your cybersecurity. I built it to bring real security assessments, compliance guidance, and staff training to the dental practices, restaurants, retail shops, law firms, and small businesses that keep Texas communities running.
