AegisPro CyberShield didn't start as a business plan. It started with a frustration — watching small business owners in Texas try to navigate cybersecurity advice written for enterprise IT departments, regulations written for Fortune 500 lawyers, and "affordable" security tools that cost more than their monthly revenue.
I've spent the last five-plus years working in cybersecurity — running security operations for Fortune 500 enterprises, leading PCI DSS scoping engagements for a cybersecurity consulting firm, and managing vulnerability and compliance programs for a national healthcare provider. Along the way I earned my CISSP, multiple CompTIA certifications, and Qualys credentials in PCI Compliance and vulnerability management. And the more I worked with enterprise-grade tools and frameworks, the more it became clear: the same protection that big companies take for granted is almost completely out of reach for the businesses that need it most.
That's why I started AegisPro CyberShield — to bring enterprise-grade security to the local retailers, restaurants, and small businesses that keep Texas communities running.
